It's been a rollercoaster of a season for the Washington Capitals, and a there have been a lot of ups and down for the team captain, former league MVP Alex Ovechkin. Last night, when he won the game in overtime with a beautiful vintage-style Ovie goal, the Great 8 reminded us Caps fan why we chant "MVP" in his honor.

I'm a huge Washington Capitals fan, I love reading and writing to the point that I recently completed my (useless) Master's in English, and I am the proud owner of the most handsome dog of all time (that's not him in my profile picture, though, because his identity must be protected)
