I am super excited to be gainfully employed again because unless you're rich, unemployment sucks. But an added benefit of my new job? I'm going in the opposite direction of traffic and avoiding the dreaded route 66 altogether. That's pretty awesome, because unemployment and route 66 have one major thing in common:
I wish Glinda the Good Witch could come here so I could tap my shoes three times and go home where it's warm and not covered in snow. Unfortunately, this is my home, so even Glinda can't really help me. I wouldn't mind leaving here and going to Oz for awhile though.
Any movie starring Ben Affleck and featuring a soft rock Aerosmith song on the soundtrack spells quality to me. Either that or the first sign of the impending apocalypse...but so far we're still here.
It's been awhile, I think. Since my schedule is about to become much fuller starting next week, one thing that will be impacted is my tv/movie watching time. Tragic, right? So this week's theme is:
TV and Movies!!
And here...we...go....(which is a movie reference in itself, but sadly, I have yet to see any license plates referencing The Joker).
If you share this sentiment, then the Winter Classic was a pretty fun way to start the new year...even if it did take place in Pittsburgh. It was tons of fun but I am so happy to be home!!
